What I did in class today

These were done in my pastel class today.
They are not quite done but I am tickled pink with them. (Luckily pink is my color).
The first one is a picture of my Kyle in Cornwall when we used to live there.
I also did the same picture in acrylics with the same teacher (Susan Wolgar) last year.
I love the brilliance of the colors, if not the mess they make.

Wow, Cin, I love them, especially the top one. What a beautiful, beautiful image. Great work! Well done!

Thanks BZ

The first one is a dear one to me one which I photographed while things were still happy and carefree. I have decided to continue painting this scene for a long time. This is the fourth time doing it and I am working on another bigger one today. It is fun to look at the different versions that I have come up with and to see my progression as an artist. I think Kyle would be proud.

Great paintings Cindy. I'm sure Kyle's watching and smiling. The view could be of the Australian Bight.
